Powder Coating

Powder Coating

Powder coating is the ideal surface finish for metal parts such as steel, aluminum and pre-treated steel parts.

Advantages of powder coating

  • Environmentally conscious (no solvents, recovery of excess powder lacquer)
  • Visually attractive
  • Corrosion protection (protects from rust and harmful environmental influences)
  • Scratch resistant
  • Bend proof
  • UV resistant
  • Shock resistant (sturdy in the event of shock or impact)
  • Resistant against chemicals and weather proof

Maximum sizes for parts to be powder coated:

  • Length: 5000 mm or 6500 mm upon agreement
  • Height: 1700 mm
  • Width: 1400 mm
  • Weight: 500 kg

Coating of individual pieces, coating of models or samples or entire runs

We utilize 2 conventional methods for powder coating:

  • Electrostatic (EPS method, Corona spray method, E-Static)
  • Triboelectric (triboelectric charge)

During the production process, we regularly check density and adherence by cross-cut-testing. We offer all available RAL colors and specialty colors like Sikkens, NCS and DRAL in various degrees of brightness. These include matte and silk matte, high gloss and specialty metallic versions as well as different surface varieties such as smooth, fine structure and hammer blow surfaces.

Applications for customers in the areas of mechanical engineering, heating and air conditioning technology, electrical engineering, precision engineering, automotive engineering, precision sheet metal technology all the way to furniture manufacturing and design firms.

We have provided individual powder coating services since 1988.
